Master thesis and vacation

I am currently writing my master thesis in Italy, during my vacation.
The thesis deals with the topic "Approaches to use Semantic Web technologies in smart houses". My research in Semantic Web technologies started in my diploma thesis in 2007. I decided to deepen this topic more and search for a new way of implementation.

My Vision:

“Individual Components located in the building infrastructure (for example light control, door locking systems, multimedia presentation systems) connect independently decentralised. This loosely network with an allocated, intelligent, semantic control logic opens based on the high flexibility and reduced configuration effort a high potential in the domain of Facility Management.”
